Course

You learn what ends an account before you learn what a chart is.

It starts from nothing and assumes none of the words. What you are buying. What one small price move costs you. Why the line under your account only ever moves up.

What the marks mean

A part reads Provisional until the same material comes back on two later days and you get it right both times. Answering once is a good sign. It is not yet proof that it stuck.

What you can do at the end

  • Names which of the three versions of the line an account is under
  • Works out where the line sits, and how much room is left, at any moment
  • States that the account is checked against the line all day, not only at the close
  • Picks a size at which four or five losses in a row cannot close the account
  • Knows the daily limit, the flatten deadline and where the line stops moving
  • Finishes twenty sessions in the sandbox without touching a rule

The next course starts from this same list, word for word. It assumes you can do all of it.
